No. Bedbugs are not known to carry any diseases but a person could have an allergy to bedbugs. That could be severe. Tell others the bites came from spiders or fleas.. less social stigma.

But for the real critters.. It might be time to spend ten minutes on a solid education of these ugly biting bugs.
None of us deserves to be bitten in our sleep.. Yuck.
